How do I use gold leaf?

Gold leaf crafts are bright and shiny and are loved by everyone.

01.Cleaning the workpiece

02. Appropriations

Use of putty for patching defects on the workpiece to compensate for its own imperfections.

03. Sanding

After the putty is dry, sand the workpiece to smooth and naturalise the traces that have just been patched up.

04. Sealing grey primer

Spraying grey primer to isolate the workpiece from air.
Prevents oxidation of the workpiece and makes it smoother.

05. Intermediate yellow paint

After the grey primer is all dry, spray yellow primer to

06. Fine Batch

After the yellow primer is completely dry, carefully observe the workpiece after spraying the primer.
If there are any small defects, we will make up the defects carefully.

07. Fine grinding

Fine sanding of fine batches to keep the surface of the workpiece smooth and flat

08. Topcoat red

Spray red topcoat to prevent oxidisation of the patching putty and to facilitate the following gluing and gilding.

09. Gluing

After the red topcoat is thoroughly dry, evenly apply glue on top of the workpiece.
It needs to be thin and thick, without hanging glue.

10. Stickers

After the glue dries, attach the gold foil to the surface of the workpiece.
Do not expose the bottom, articulate naturally, and clean up the excess gold foil.

11. Inspection

After the gold leaf is applied, the workpiece will be carefully observed and inspected.
Ensure that there are no defects, if there are defects, the gold will be repaired.

12. Protective layer

After confirming that there are no flaws in the workpiece, apply the protective layer.
When the protective layer is completely dry, the gold is finished!
